SATE RATU / SATAY RATU

It is called Sate Ratu. Located on Jl. Sidomukti, Condong Catur, Depok - Sleman Yogyakarta. The place is around a lot of culinary places. 

Sate Ratu owned by 2 men who were experienced in hospitality. They decided to resign from their job and build a business. A culinary Business named Sate Ratu. At the first, the concept of Sate Ratu was an Angkringan. Angkringan is a place which sells streetfood with a cheap price.

To gain more customers form any different society, they change the concept from an Angkringan to a Restaurant specializing on Chicken Satay as their main menu. Satay Ratu.

THE AMBIENCE

Because the restaurant is popular among local and foreigner tourist, the restaurant are always full of customers. At the picture above, i was sitting- on waiting line to get a table. 

 

But, don't worry. Even though the place are always crowded, the place is spacious. It's also has second floor area which is also spacious.

THE TASTE OF SATE RATU

 

One word for the taste of the Satay, "AMAZING !"

To be honest, i am one of those who doesn't like Satay. But once i tried this Satay, i was amazed and couldn't believe the taste of the Satay in my mouth. It's super Yummy ! The texture was soft and juicy, and the spices combination are incredible. 

I'm not tryin' to make it sounds overrated but yeah this Satay is amazing !

 

The menu i ordered was Sate Merah. It means Red Satay in English. The color's of the Sate is Red as the name. They have another Sate called Sate Kanak, which is actually the less-spicy version of Sate Merah. But, since i'm a 10000000% Indonesian, so i can handle the spicy. All is gewd, hehe.
