Rainy season didn't stop me and my plans to go to Yogyakarta. How i miss the city made me come all the way to Jogja even though it is raining everywhere. And also, i want to romanticize the rainy season in Jogja.
I took a train from Mojokerto to Jogja. Oh, Mojokerto is my hometown. And i got a really good price for a premium train, you can check it (here) how to get a cheaper price.
On the third day when i was in Jogja, i found a really good hostel. And the location is good tho, close to Prawirotaman Street which is known as a "Tourist Village". Tourist and Backpacker from all over the world gather here. The hostel name is "Oke Baik Hostel", the address is at Mg 3, Jl. Prawirotaman No.566, Brontokusuman - Megangsan Yogyakarta. The place is close to so many good restaurants and bars. That's why tourist loved this area.
THE ROOM
This place has 4 types of room :
I choose Mixed Dormitory Room, the bed with a shopping bag was mine hehe. The bed is comfy and clean. It has electricity plugin beside the bed, so you can charge your phone when you are sleep hahaha.
And as you can see at the picture below, it has a big enough locker. My suitcase fit in there.
The bed prices doesn't include blanket and towel. So if you need a blanket and towel, there's an additional charge IDR 10k per item. You can just tell the receptionist if you need those stuff.
The dormitory room is also has a hammock that you can use to just relax and chill, it will be great if you do that in the morning. The sunshine from the window is just so good.
THE BATHROOM
The Bathroom is clean and cute. The left picture is the bathroom in the second floor, close to Female and Mix Dormitory Room that we can use as a sharing bathroom. I took the right side picture in the shared bathroom in the first floor, close to the stairs.
KITCHEN
This hostel has a sharing kitchen with a complete kitchen utensils. There's also a refrigerator if you need to keep fruits, frozen food, or anything. And they also provide a free coffee and tea.
COMMUNAL AREA
I'm not sure about this but i think all areas in this hostel is a communal area hahaha. Because the place is super comfy so you can just chill and talks anywhere lol. And if maybe you need a helmet, you can borrow it there. But please, tell the receptionist yaa.
NETFLIX AND WIFI
If you don't have plans to go anywhere, you can just netflix and chill. They provide netflix and wifi. So you can just kill the time by watching them.

HOS WAS THE STAY?
It was really nice stay. The staff and the owner are super nice and helpful. They even let me stay at their communal area while waiting for my train after my check out. Would really love to be back on my next trip to Jogja.
